Mid season, Potato leaf, Dwarf with Orange Oblate fruit between 40z and 20oz (110g and 560g)
Tanager plants reach four to five feet tall and very productive. The fruit are smooth skinned, oblate shaped, four to twenty ounces each, and bright pale orange in colour. They have an intense flavour that leans to the tart end of the flavour spectrum.
Emerging from the Dwarf Tomato Project's
" Fancy
" family, 'Dwarf Tanager' was selected and named by Susan Oliverson as a differently coloured outcome found when working on 'Dwarf Goldfinch'. Additional contributors to this release are Dee Sackett, Craig LeHoullier
and Bill Minkey and it was added to the Dwarf Tomato project list in 2021.
