" family was created by Patrina Nuske Small by crossing the old, historic dwarf variety ' New Big Dwarf
' with indeterminate tomato 'Grozny '91'. From this family, 'Dwarf Snakebite' was selected and named by Amanda Fischer. Along with Patrina and Amanda, others involved with creating this variety were Craig LeHoullier
, Michael Volk, Sherry Long, Damon Huck, Shawn Conant, Bill Minkey, Mike Dunton, and John Dunton. A 2020 Dwarf tomato project release.
Flavour is on the tangy side of balanced. Slightly tart yet hugely flavourful.
Can be grown outdoors as well as in a greenhouse

Growers footnote 2022 - Snakebite has turned out to be our favourite tasting tomato of the season. Its complexity and intensity wowed us. Initially notes on the palate are zesty but then the sweetness comes through. It has a ringing finish that takes over your taste buds for a couple of minutes.
