Craig LeHoullier crossed Yellow White with Dwarf Jade Beauty and named the cross Leafy. The medium sized green fruited selection on a potato leaf dwarf plant was made by Craig. Future selection work was done by Susan Oliverson and final seeds grown out by Bill Minkey. Dwarf Sara's Olalla Emerald (named after Craig's eldest daughter Sara) provides delicious medium sized green fleshed tomatoes on a potato leaf dwarf plant.
The flavour profile is on the sweeter side of balanced. The plants generally reach 5ft to 6ft tall.
