Rosella Purple originated from a cross Budai (a small fruited red dwarf) and Stump of the World, made in 2006 by Patrina Nuske Small in Australia. It was grown out to its 9th generation and once stable it was released in 2011.
The flavour is complex, balanced and intense. One of the finest tomatoes we have ever tasted and quite simply we think this is the best tasting tomato on the planet!!
