volunteer, Susan Oliverson, who after selecting and stabilizing the variety, named 'Dwarf Mary's Cherry' after her daughter. Additional work was provided by Justin Sieglaff. Bill Minkey produced the seed for its original 2018 release.
Flavour is complex and intense and has a long lingering smack on the palate.
Growers footnote 2022 - Mary’s Cherry was one of the stars of 2022 mainly for its wonderful complex flavour profile. It is right up there with some of the finest tomatoes like Rosella Purple and Uluru Ochre. The size is quite variable ranging from golf ball size to mini beefsteak. It is not a cherry tomato at all.
