Early season, Regular leaf, Dwarf, pink oblate fruits between 3oz and 8oz (85g and 225g)

The plants of 'Dwarf Arctic Rose' have dark green rugose foliage with stout central stems and grows to about three feet tall. Fruit are smooth and round to oblate, ranging from three to eight ounces, and ripen pink (clear skin, red interior). Flavour is well balanced and delicious.

Developed between 2006 and 2012 by the members of the " Dwarf Tomato Project " from a cross between 'Budai Torpe' and 'Black from Tula', made in 2006 by Patrina Nuske Small in Australia and named ' Grumpy '. Sherry Shiesl and Susan Bailey of Alaska carried out the majority of the selection work on this new variety, which was named collaboratively by them in 2011. Ted Maiden grew out the initial seed supply for its 2012 introduction.

Can be grown outside as well as in a greenhouse

Minimum 20 seeds

Growers footnote 2021 - Like Yukon Quest this variety only grows to about 3ft but it produced a bundle of salad sized pink tomatoes that tasted great. One of our favourites in blind tastings.
